Sick Day

It was a beautiful day today... unfortunately Mom and I both had colds, so she and I called out sick. Once the medicine kicked in we had the energy to bake a blueberry pie. We had an abundance of blueberries, and my mom had never made a blueberry pie before, so together we made quite a yummy one. Then we sat on a blanket in the back yard under a beautiful blue sky and Thor fought Hulk and Hulk won. Hulk always wins, duh.

Please note Bumblebee and Hulk presiding as I make my first pie. Iron Man must have passed out for some reason.

Countdown!

19 days. Nineteen more days until the beach! Every year we have gone to Sea Isle, New Jersey for the week with my mom's side of the family (except for one year but we still made it down for the day)... the adventure continues in July. My cousin Emily already made her packing list. I don't really write too well yet so I don't have a packing list, plus I let my mom deal with all the minute details. She is happy she doesn't have to worry about diapers this year. We can't wait!

Sea Isle 2010. I love the beach more than ever. This was a great week.

Sea Isle 2011. It was extremely hot last year, but after 5 o'clock the beach emptied out and my mom and I loved just chillin.

Happy Father's Day!

My dad is the kind of dad all kids dream of having. He is my hero. He sets up tents in the back yard so that we can sleep outside under the stars. He teaches me things. He takes me for bike rides. He acts silly and makes me laugh. He does everything around the house. He is smart and strong. I love my dad. We had a great Father's Day!

Today we went to Valley Forge State Park. Look at this thing!!!!!

Then we went to Tired Hands Brewery in Ardmore for some beer (not for me, I just had water). We had the best seat in the house on a gorgeous day.
